• A four hour seminar designed to educate parents about the needs of children who are experiencing transitions as the result of a custody action.
• The seminar is lead by two persons with master's degrees and certification to teach the Transparenting materials used in the seminar.

WHAT WILL I LEARN?

• To see custody issues through the eyes of your children.
• Guidelines for supportive and positive parenting.
• Reactions and feelings of children to this transition at different developmental stages.
• Ways to communicate effectively with your children and their other parent.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

• Pre-registration is required by Tuesday prior to the seminar to assure registration. No walk-in registrations accepted.
• Register by sending registration form with check, money order, or credit card information to Family Service.
• Your registration is confirmation. No confirmation will be sent.
• Registration is non-refundable.
• A $10.00 fee is charged for rescheduling in case of non-attendance.
• This seminar is for adults. Please do not bring children.
• Feel free to bring snacks and beverages. There are two 10 minute breaks.

• Please bring identification to the seminar.
• Focus on Children is not a substitute for counseling or legal services. Advice or counsel for individual situations will not be given. Case specific questions cannot be answered by Family Service staff.
• Sessions begin on time. No one is permitted to enter 15 minutes after session has started.
• Security is provided at all seminars. No weapons including guns, knives, and mace. No video or audio-taping permitted. You will be subject to search.

WHERE DO I GO?
All Focus on Children Seminars are held at Lancaster General Wellness Center 2100 Harrisburg Pike, Second Floor Lancaster, PA. Enter main entrance at 2100 Building. Use elevator or stairs to access the second floor.

• Pass Park City on the right. Turn left at the 3rd light. Park in lot in front of building 2100.
